S.A.V.E. Dillsboro Dam Handkerchief

Content Description

The collection consists of one item, a white handkerchief sixteen (16) inches square with the main heading “S.A.V.E. Dillsboro Dam” in red and blue font. The remainder of the text contains a quote from the Declaration of Independence and a poem by Dave Waldrop, dated 2009, calling for preservation of the dam. The acronym “S.A.V.E.” stands for Safe Alternative Viable Energy. The handkerchief also has a line drawing of the dam and the powerhouse.
