Of note are several Civil War letters; a Certificate of Promotion to Second Lieutenant for C.S. Buchanan, July 26, 1863; and state of North Carolina Confederate currency.

Folder 10 – Treasury Notes. North Carolina Treasury notes, one for 25 cents (1863) and one for 50 cents (1864). [Bills, money, Confederate].

Folder 11 – Church Minutes. Tuckasiege United Baptist Association (1858, 1859, 1871); Hiwassee United Baptist Association (1861); circular letter and fragments of documents (1884, n.d.).

Folder 12 – Church Records. Hand-written minutes of church meetings. Appears to be for the Baptist Church of Christ in Jackson County, NC, in the Savannah community. 1876, n.d.
