Scope and Contents

Photo-Album containing three hundred and sixty-three (363) photographs from the Asheville and Buncombe County, North Carolina vicinity. Pictures with dates indicated range from 1914 to 1925. Most pictures are 2½ inches x 3 ½ inches in size. Among the featured or identified pictures are: baptisms; Bethel Church; Camp Meeting (1923); Cane Creek; Chimney Rock; family outings and picnics; Fletcher School (1921); French Broad River; group and individual pictures; Holsclaw Cabin; homes; Mt. Carmel High School class (1914); New Bridge, Swannanoa; Oteen (1920); Patties Chapel, Fletcher, N.C.; pig lot and chicken pen; railroad at Round Knob and Andrews Geyser; Slick Rock; soldiers in uniform; and the “Swannanoa M.E. Church S.”
