Scope and content:

Mr. Arrington’s family has owned and operated the apple orchard originally known as Pinnacle Mountain (now called Barber Orchard) for several generations. The interview provides information on the history and daily operations of both the Arrington family’s original Pinnacle Mountain orchard and the 500 acre Barber orchard—later purchased by the Arrington family. During the interview Mr. Arrington talks, at some depth about traditional and modern techniques and technology used in the production and harvest of apples.
