Content Description Bascom Lamar Lunsford (March 21, 1882 – Sept. 4, 1973) was a ballad singer, musician, festival promoter, and attorney in western North Carolina. He founded the Mountain Dance and Folk Festival in Asheville, NC. The collection contains a manuscript biography of Lunsford by Loyal Jones.
