Twenty-five (25) pieces of correspondence from George Washington Carver to Mrs. Jesse Henry (Margaret Gillispie) Slagle and Dr. Thomas Dickey (Dick) Slagle, dating from 1924 - 1936. Also, twenty-two (22) mail envelopes accompanying the correspondence; a letter concerning the Siler family and Rev. Deal; clippings; and three (3) pamphlets printed in 1924 ("Studies with Phytosterols," "Experiment Station Record," "Some Natural Violet Hybrids of North America").
