Mead Plant Collection

The collection consists of thirty-one (31) photographs (8" x 10") showing construction and/or operations of the Mead Plant (Sylva Paperboard Co.) in Sylva, North Carolina. Seventeen of the photographs showing construction of the plant are dated, and range from March 6, 1928 to October 8, 1929. The remaining photographs are undated, but are views of the plant and/or personnel engaged in operations.
